A high growth Oil & Gas business is looking to hire a Financial Controller on an initial 9 month contract, with the possibility to go permanent. The business is experiencing rapid growth and is in the process of expanding to other countries. Your role as a Financial Controller will be to manage the financial accounting.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Preparing month end close and managing internal controls (including design and implementation of SOX controls)
• Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure tax compliance support local standards
• Involved in the preparation of annual budgets
• Manage a team of 5

The ideal candidate:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent/ qualified by experience
• Experience managing and preparing the month end process is essential
• Strong knowledge of Tax Compliance
• Previous SOX experience
• Experience working with UK GAAP and IFRS
