Financial Modelling Manager - Dublin

Fantastic opportunity for a Quantitative Financial Modeller to join one of the leading Valuations teams in Ireland focusing on Complex Financial products and Derivatives in a demanding M&A and Corporate Finance environment.
With the market for experienced candidates growing ever stronger this position offers complex technical product issues to resolve as well as a flexible working environment and very strong career progression given their endless pipeline of work.

Duties:

  • Carry out valuations, modelling and pricing of complex financial products and derivatives.
  • Develop solutions for external and internal clients based on sound quantitative models.
  • Collect and analyse financial market data and time series.
  • Prepare and present reports to support these analyses and solutions.
  • Review complex quantitative models developed by clients or third parties.
  • Assist senior consulting staff with analytic and presentational support.
  • Work within available budgets and tight timelines while keeping the assignment manager updated with progress.


Technical Experience:

  • Credit risk assessment and synthetic credit rating approaches;
  • Valuation for financial reporting purposes (such as IAS 39, IFRS 13 and IFRS 2 valuations);
  • Valuation of illiquid securities, such as employee stock options, preferred shares, alternative investments, convertible/callable debt and contingent considerations



Looking For:
We are seeking a candidate who is Level 9 masters or ACA/ACCA/CFA qualified with a strong Finance flavour.
3-4 Years' experience in a similar field or discipline will be required coming from an Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services or Advisory background.
