About the Role:

A leading global organization in the scientific services sector is seeking an experienced interim professional to support its local entity in Naarden. This 9-month project involves hands-on management of daily accounting operations during a key implementation phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage purchase orders for vendors
• Record goods receipts and purchase invoices using ImageCapture
• Prepare and submit Dutch VAT declarations
• Issue intercompany (IC) sales invoices and manage accounts receivable
• Reconcile IC AR/AP balances during month-end close
• Execute payment runs for third parties and intercompany entities
• Maintain master data for vendors, customers, and raw materials
• Support general ledger accounting activities

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in AP/AR, intercompany reconciliation, Dutch VAT, and general ledger accounting (including accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong command of both English and Dutch
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and a proactive team player
• Experience with ImageCapture and Exact Globe is a plus
• Familiarity with purchase order processes is an advantage
