Marks Sattin are working with a leading private equity backed business in Birmingham to recruit a Group Financial Controller.

The business is growing from strength to strength and operating under an aggressive buy-and-build strategy and as such, now require a Group Financial Controller to manage the finance function, financial reporting and support with any post integration of newly acquired businesses.

• Delivering monthly reporting process including expansion of KPI data set and analysis
• Supporting the year-end process and audit
• Enhance internal control environment
• Potential involvement in supporting with a new ERP implementation
• Manage a team of qualified and non-qualified staff, covering transactional finance
• Manage and comply with HMRC reporting requirements and tax filings
• M&A and integration support

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Experience working for a PE backed business is essential
• Experience in a professional services / consultancy environment
• Advanced Excel - must have the ability to analyse large complex data
