Marks Sattin has partnered with a PE-Backed Luxury Fashion brand in search of an Interim Group Financial Controller for a short term assignment (with a view to go perm)!

- Initial 3-6 Months (with possibility of extension)
- £400-500 per day
- Immediate Start
- Office based in central London

**Responsibilities:**
1. Lead and manage the GL/Accountant team, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations.
2. Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and audit processes in accordance with IFRS standards.
3. Manage tax-related activities, including Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Transfer Pricing, and other tax matters.
4. Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and timely resolution of audit findings.
5. Drive project management initiatives within the finance function, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
6. Ensure consolidation of financial data across business units, providing accurate and timely financial insights.
7. Provide guidance and support on accounting, compliance, and regulatory matters to internal stakeholders.
**Requirements:**
1. ACA/CA qualified via a Top 10 Audit firm
2. Subsequent experience in a similar role within a commercial company, demonstrating expertise in financial management and leadership.
3. Specialization in accounting, tax, audit, compliance, and consolidation.
4. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives effectively.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
6. Experience in the fashion industry is desirable but not essential.
**Additional Information:**
- Experience with multi-currency transactions, international businesses, and EU regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Odoo, is advantageous.
- The role involves strategic planning for upcoming store openings and managing the financial implications of business growth.
