Group Transactional Manager | Remote | £50k-£55k | FTC

Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnering with a leading business to recruit for a Group Transactional Manager on a fixed term contract, with the potential to be made permanent.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a challenging and demanding environment and be adaptable to changing priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement process improvements across the Purchase Ledger and Accounts Receivable function
• Develop reporting capability for the AP/AR Team
• Formulate plan for development of finance processes / procedures and policies
• Ensure Purchase to Pay cycle is robust, accurate and compliant
• Review and agree weekly payment runs
• Development of robust Credit Control Process
• Support the implementation and roll out of new systems
• Development of Payroll processes
• Proactively manage and develop the team including conducting regular reviews and appraisals
• Development of Transactional KPI reporting
• Work with broader finance to help support FPA and Financial Reporting requirements
• Work closely with Management Accounting team to understand Management Accounts, support needed from Transactional Team and supporting information

About you:

• Previous experience in working as a Transactional Manager, covering both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• People management experience
• Previous Credit Control experience
• VAT knowledge and experience
• Previous payroll experience
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Ability and willingness to adapt to the business needs of an evolving organisation
