Global energy firm with an expanding London presence has an opportunity for a Group Treasurer to take on a senior leadership position at their central London offices. A listed firm with a multi national presence which will afford you the chance to establish a global Group treasury team as well launching refinancing strategies amongst other duties.
The role is responsible for ensuring the provision of liquidity and effective financial risk management for the Group which will encompass funding, FX, commodity, interest rate, counterparty and associated financial operational risks. You will play an integral part in contributing to the development and delivery of Group strategy. In addition, the role is accountable for taxation maters and liaising with the Group tax team. Key aspect of this role is managing the Group's debt level and prior experience of doing this is critical for all applicants.
A high performing qualified accountant/treasurer (ACA/CPA/ACMT) with significant experience of delivering on time results in a highly complex environment (ideally energy) will be well placed for this high profile role. As a core member of the leadership team, your ability to build relationships with key internal / external stakeholders including M&A, bank financing, and legal advisers should be second to none.
