Marks Sattin are currently recruiting an interim Accounts Assistant/Assistant Accountant on behalf of a very well established SME service provider, based in North Leeds.

This role is for approximately an initial 3 months - working closely with the Financial Controller to assist with the following -

• Monitoring and maintaining the main accounts email and action urgent requests
• Bank reconciliations
• Raising Bank payments and refunds
• Maintaining fixed asset register
• Raising sales invoices
• Processing sales and purchase transactions
• Managing supplier accounts and reconcile statements
• Maintaining daily ledgers
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Monitoring and updating cashflow on a daily basis
• Posting of accruals & prepayments
• Any ad hoc duties as required by senior management including high level excel based reporting

The successful candidate will have;

• Experience working within a similar role
• A background in processing transactional accounts
• Strong analytical and MS Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience with the Xero system

Salary is ranging £28,000 - £34,000 depending on your level of experience
