Interim Financial Reporting Accountant
Our client is a multinational in the biotechnology industry. We are currently looking for an Interim Financial Reporting Accountant for a period of approximately 6 months. We are looking for a well experienced professional with at least 5 years of experience within a multination, that is hands-on and have a solid knowledge to take the main responsibilities of month-end closing activities and manage the general ledger accounts in detail and up to date. You will be the right hand of the finance manager but you are able to work very independent.
The job

• Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities timely and accurately, maintain the financial record of B/S and P/L accounts at day-to-day basis, ensure critical GL accounts (eg bank, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets capitalization and depreciation, accrued income, GR/IR, operational lease) are especially well reconciled;
• Issue sales and intercompany recharge invoices, manage 3rd party AR;
• Lead intercompany activities and payment netting;
• Collaborate with account payable administrator and control invoice booking, payment to 3rd parties, VAT and ICP declaration;
• Update WKR document and personnel cost;
• Submit data for CBS questionnaire within timeline;
• Support Finance Manager with governmental grant submission, auditor's request, statutory financial reporting and other ad-hoc tasks proactivel;

Requirements

• Bachelor degree within Finance or Accounting;
• You have at least 5 years recent experience with Financial Reporting / Accounting assignments within a multinational organization;
• You have experience within a Dutch organization too and you have experience with Dutch VAT
• You have knowledge of both Dutch GAAP and US GAAP;
• Experience with auditor's request and statutory financial reporting;
• You know your way within Excel, Oracle and Exact;
• Fluent in English and Dutch work proficiencies;
• You are available as soon as possible for 40 hours a week as an interimmer

Offer

• Hourly rate up to a maximum of €75,- per hour;
• Travelling allowance compensation will be 0.23 euro/km with maximum 30km per day
• Assignment for 3 - 6 months
