Start your job searchA very unique and exciting opportunity has arisen with an active private equity firm who are seeking an Interim candidate with a formal programme / project mangement skills and a background in Corporate Finance/M&A/Private Equity deal transactions.
This contract opportunity has come about due to the ramp up M&A activity of the Private Equty firm.
The successful candidate will be play a paramount part in managing and co-ordinating the front office deal activities by bringing together all of the people and elements necessary to support the deal flow process.
In effect the M&A Programme Manager will be responsible for managing the deal timetable, bringing rigor, governance and leadership to the transaction pipeline of events and ensuring that all the sequencial steps relating aquisition and divestment activity are taking place on queue. The contractor/consultant will be responsible for guiding the M&A team, legal, finance, CEOs and other professional services to a successful outcome.
The client has a very specific requirement in terms of skills and experience needed, thus only candidates who fulfill all of following criteria will be considered:
- Extensive formal Programme/Project Management experience, running complex projects
- M&A/Corporate Finance/Aquisition & Divestment experience (as part of the deal team)
- You must be sharp, have gravitas, be articulate and used to dealing with CEO/Board level personel
For clarification; they are not looking for a project manager who has simply integrated or carved out business post aquisition or divestment or a COO/MD who had run such businesses but thye would like an ex M&A corporate finance consultant who had moved into formal project management.
Duration: 12 months
Day Rate: £800-£1000pd depending on experience
Ideally to start in the next 2-4 weeks
