A universal FTSE 100 powerhouse is looking for a M&A/Corporate Development Associate. As part of a lean M&A department you will be directly responsible for the growth that underpins the CEO's strategy.
The team is responsible for formulating the Group's M&A strategy through the identification of opportunities for business development and executing these transactions or agreements to deliver that strategy. As one of the core members of the project team on M&A transactions you will assist the Director of Corporate Development to help ensure that the strategic and financial value to the Group of any project are extracted and evaluated. The successful applicant will assist in negotiating terms of any transaction; developing solutions to mitigate financial and business risks; evaluating the value of business not only to the Group but to other potentially interested parties.
This fantastic opportunity requires an exceptional candidate and it is advised that you have experience in:
- M&S processes
- Valuation techniques
- Generation of detailed financial models (DCF)
- Transaction structuring
- Business and integration plans
- Financial due diligence
Ideally you will have 2-3 years investment banking background, or other similar corporate finance or corporate development experience. All applications will be considered from those with demonstrable m&a experience with the ambition for a broad finance based career within a FTSE 100 business
