Marks Sattin is working in exclusive partnership with a Bristol based SME to recruit a Management Accountant on an interim basis for a period of 3 to 6 months. This will be an opportunity to join a business as it looks to improve controls and processes, adjust reporting standards and be actively involved with daily tasks or running a small but growing business. This role will support the Financial Controller in a hands on role covering daily transactional tasks alongside month end work.

This role would suit a Financial/Management Accountant with a background in SME businesses that is happy to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in.



This role will be paying between £18 and £22 PAYE per hour and possibility of a permanent role thereafter.



Management Accountant Key Responsibilities Include:


  • Oversight of day to day operational finance areas including transactional finance, management and financial accounting with support of a small team
  • Assist the Financial Controller with month end management accounts preparation
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Credit Control and Sales Ledger responsibilities



The ideal candidate will be:


  • Actively studying ACCA/CIMA/ACA or qualified by experience considered
  • Strong attention to detail and reconciliations experience
  • Proactive approach to this hands on role with good scope for progression
  • Intermediate Excel experience (pivot tables, lookups and data manipulation)
