Our client is a dynamic, acquisitive medium-sized service sector business with an exciting growth trajectory. As part of this growth, they are now seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified or nearly qualified accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of a growing organisation.
You will take ownership of key areas of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering, providing the leadership team with the information they need to make confident, strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with monthly group management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Deliver accurate and purposeful management reports to support decision-making.
- Maintain and develop KPI reporting and cost centre analysis.
- Prepare profit centre reports, sensitivity analysis, and monthly cashflow forecasts.
- Lead on budgeting and forecasting, working closely with stakeholders across the business.
- Provide business partnering support to wider business.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting and processes.
About you
- Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or nearly qualified with strong management accounting experience.
- Skilled in Excel (pivot tables, SUMIF, LOOKUPs).
- A confident communicator who can build strong relationships across the business.
- Organised, adaptable, and able to thrive in a high-growth, acquisitive environment.
- Curious, collaborative, and commercially minded, with a passion for improving processes and delivering insight.
