Location: Walsall, West Midlands

Salary: £30k - £35k

Type: Permanent, Full Time (Includes hybrid working!)

A developing business in Walsall and looking to expand their team!! Due to an internal promotion, they are looking to fill this Management Accountant role with a driven individual to work alongside the Financial Controller, supporting with preparation of accounts and budgeting & forecasting.

Main responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly Management Accounts to support with analysis and investigation.
• Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
• Working with other departments to maintain up to date data for sales forecasts and margin analysis.
• Reporting of project performance; Actual vs Forecasting & budgeting, analysis of ongoing projects - planning, forecasting etc.
• Preparation of business cases
• Create and maintain of control spreadsheets.
• Prepare and maintain accurate cashflow forecasting.
• Production of annual budget and manage through the year.
• Monthly and annual reporting to include year end and audit support.
• Preparation of reconciliations and schedules at the year-end in preparation for the audit process.
• Other ad hoc duties to support Finance and Operations.

Ideal candidate:

• AAT qualified or Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA is a must.
• Previous experience within a Management Accountant/Similar role.
• Experienced within preparation of accounts and/or project accounting.
• Experience/understanding of Accounts Analysis
• Experience within an Accountancy Practice is desired but not essential.
• Experience of SAGE200 would be an advantage.
• Great communication skills
• Ability to produce and explain information to non-financial people.
