The Prime Brokerage business of this global top tier Investment Bank is planning significant expansion for mid-2011 on the back of recent success. As a result it is has become necessary to increase the headcount within the Product Control, and strengthen the support function of a number of fast paced trading desks within the EMEA Prime Brokerage & Equity Finance Business Area.

Within the role you can expect a challenge from day one. New hires will initially have ownership of systems testing processes and a strong involvement in their set up from a finance perspective. Following ‘go-live’ phases your responsibilities will broaden to review of RWA, Balance Sheet and Capital, and ownership for the P&L. You will work closely with the team responsible for pricing queries, and provide advisory Decision Support in the areas of regulatory accounting, trade booking, sign-off of new product approvals, project coordination, and client and performance measurement.

Due to the nature of the expansion our client is looking for exceptional candidates who are prepared to take on a challenge. You will be at the forefront of development at one of the world’s leading Financial Institutions providing real value to your business area. As such we are looking for applicants with a minimum of 2 years Product Control experience within; Prime Brokerage, Equity Finance, Cash Equity or Stock Borrow Lending. A recognised accounting qualification is highly desirable, as is experience around systems testing or implementation.
