Interim Project Accountant | Preston | £350 - £450 per day | Outside IR35

Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a fantastic business based in Preston, who are looking for a talented Project Accountant to join their team. This contract will be for 3 months initially however, this could be extended for the right candidate. To begin with this role will be office based for 4 days a week, this will change to a more hybrid model once the successful has a handle on the role.

The successful candidate will need to have strong technical accountancy skills and advanced excel skills. Previous experience in a Project Accountant role is essential as well as working to tight deadlines and a high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and collecting reports for internal and external stakeholders;
• Manage and closely monitor cash flow;
• Prepare and produce month end accounts including any commentary;
• Produce and present key financial reporting

About you

• Previous experience as a Project Accountant is essential;
• ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified;
• Previous experience in creating multiple financial reports;
• Advanced excel skills;
• Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

£350-£450 per day - Outside IR35
