The details

Project Manager - eFront / Portfolio Monitoring - 12m contract
Location: London (hybrid)
Contract Term: 12 months
Day Rate: £700-£850 per day

The Opportunity

A top-tier private equity house is rolling out a strategic upgrade to its portfolio monitoring and reporting capabilities. At the heart of this initiative is the implementation of eFront, supported by a full redesign of business processes within the Secondaries and semi-liquid product areas.

To deliver this eFront, the firm is seeking an accomplished Project Manager with a strong track record in driving systems enabled change within private markets. This is a leadership role requiring hands on management of delivery, risk, and stakeholder engagement across multiple functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the delivery of the eFront implementation, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget
  • Redefine end-to-end business processes to align with future state operating models for Secondaries and semi-liquid funds
  • Manage interconnected workstreams spanning systems, finance, operations, risk, and product teams
  • Create and maintain robust project documentation including detailed plans, resource maps, and financial tracking
  • Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, providing clear mitigation strategies and escalation paths
  • Oversee system integration activities with external administrators, custodians, and internal data platforms
  • Provide strong direction and coaching to BA/SME teams, embedding a culture of accountability and delivery focus
  • Support end user readiness, including UAT of eFront, migration checks, and post go-live stabilisation

What You'll Bring

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) delivering large scale change projects in private markets, ideally in private equity
  • Hands on experience with portfolio monitoring platforms - eFront strongly preferred
  • Strong appreciation of private markets workflows, with exposure to secondaries and semi-liquid structures an advantage
  • Advanced knowledge of project methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid), governance, and change management frameworks
  • Track record of managing third-party service providers and ensuring delivery accountability
