Start your job searchMarks Sattin are currently recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a long-term FTC to join a leading service provider, based in East Leeds.
This contract is for 12-14 months with the potential to go permanent.
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk working alongside the wider finance team, you will be responsible for;
- Processing invoices - approx. 1000 per month
- Processing electronic payments
- Dealing with queries
- Working with internal stakeholders to ensure purchasing policies and processes are followed
- Having ownership of supplier accounts, monitoring account statements and ensuring suppliers are paid to terms
- Communicating via phone and email with internal and external stakeholders
- Applying deductions to subcontractor payments under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) - you will receive training on this if you don't have the experience
The successful candidate will have;
- Experience in Processing, reviewing and verifying invoices
- Experience of working within in a high volume, high value Accounts Payable function
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- SAP experience desirable
- CIS experience desirable
