Purchase Ledger Clerk | Stockport | £140-£170 per day | Office based

A well-established manufacturing business is looking for a proactive Purchase Ledger Clerk to join its finance team and ensure smooth processing of supplier invoices and payments. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced operation and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume purchase invoices accurately and on time
• Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare supplier payment runs and manage queries
• Maintain supplier accounts and reconcile statements
• Support month-end processes and assist with ad-hoc finance tasks

About You

• Previous experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Confident communicator for handling supplier queries
• Comfortable with Excel and ERP systems
• Team player with a proactive approach
