The details

Interim Regulatory Reporting Manager (Banking)

3-Month Contract | £400-£475 per day (Umbrella) | London | Hybrid Working

***Immediate start***

An established international banking institution with a growing UK presence is seeking an experienced Interim Regulatory Reporting Manager to join its London finance function on an initial 3-month contract.

This is a high-profile opportunity for a technically strong regulatory reporting professional to take ownership of regulatory capital and liquidity reporting within a fast-paced environment. Reporting directly into senior finance leadership, the role offers broad exposure across PRA, Bank of England and COREP reporting while supporting ongoing regulatory change initiatives, including Basel 3.1 implementation.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely regulatory submissions while partnering closely with finance, treasury and risk teams across the bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and submission of UK regulatory returns across COREP, FINREP and PRA reporting frameworks
  • Manage reporting relating to capital adequacy, liquidity, leverage, large exposures and market risk
  • Prepare and review Bank of England returns and associated regulatory filings
  • Produce daily internal management reporting covering liquidity, FX exposure, capital, P&L and treasury positions
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity and completeness of regulatory reporting data and supporting controls
  • Support delivery of key regulatory and finance projects including Basel 3.1 implementation
  • Contribute to ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery & Resolution Planning and Pillar 3 reporting processes
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Risk and Compliance functions
  • Assist with statutory reporting requirements and ongoing process improvement initiatives

Required Experience & Background

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA)
  • Proven regulatory reporting experience gained within a corporate, retail or international banking environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of COREP, FINREP, PRA and liquidity reporting requirements
  • Experience covering both Regulatory Capital and Liquidity Reporting
  • Solid understanding of UK banking regulatory frameworks including PRA and Bank of England requirements
  • Exposure to Basel regulatory change programmes, ideally Basel 3.1
  • Advanced Excel skills with a hands-on and detail-oriented approach
  • Must be immediately available to start

This contract assignment would suit an immediately available regulatory reporting professional who enjoys working within a collaborative banking environment and can quickly add value across both BAU reporting and regulatory change activity.
