Marks Sattin are currently working with a leading PLC who are recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to join the team.

Joining the business and this team means no day is the same! The purpose of the role will be to plan audits focusing on the risk areas, reviewing risks at a senior level and managing project delivery. You will also manage and help develop juniors and the team growth moving forward. A business like this there is plenty of scope within the team and working alongside some incredible people who have shown true progression and developed is achievable whether it's internal or through a graduate scheme starting from the beginning all the way up. The team also provides support and training to further apply your current skills in maintaining and growing more senior stakeholder engagements.

Furthermore, this role allows you to explore wider opportunities within the business. You will get the chance to travel nationally and internationally with the team getting the best of both worlds! Expanding and collaborating your knowledge alongside some very well experienced auditors and gaining the ability to apply this within further progression.

Role will include:

  • Designing, agreeing, negotiating, and adapting the scope of each end-to-end audit on a timely basis with follow ups, gathering evidence that actions have been completed
  • Managing and maintaining current and future senior stakeholder's relationships that have been built from home grown talent
  • Reviewing and documenting the risk reviews as well as managing the delivery of the projects
  • Contributing to the overall success of the function by delivering continuous improvement
  • Supporting and guidance to the junior members on the team, carrying the responsibilities required to further build and grow on the current team foundation

Experience:

  • Ideally seeking someone with internal audit or external audit experience looking to progress into a career within internal audit
  • Seeking someone passionate, driven and motivated to progress and apply their current skills and knowledge to this role
  • You will carry a professional qualification such as CIA, IIA, ACA, ACCA
