A prestigious Global Investment Banking after a period of expansion is seeking a high calibre individual to join as at VP Level working in IPV on the Interest Rate/FX desk. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Rates you will be overseeing a team of 4 Analysts.
In addition to having ownership of day to day P&L tasks you will also be ensuring Balance Sheets adhere to best practice protocols. Your will be indulging in ad hoc project based tasks including overseeing current IPV functions and be willing to question and develop existing procedures. Reporting processes will be complied on a weekly and monthly basis. This is a highly technical role and you will have a firm grasp of modelling and be confident liaising with Front Office, Market Risk, Financial Control and Audit, You will be developing strong working relationships with Senior Management and present. The role offers a challenging environment and good scope for progression and a chance to grow your team along with the business.
The ideal candidate will have an exceptional academic background with a Degree and a Masters in a Quantitative subject. You will have minimum of 3 years experience within an IPV/Risk function gained in an Investment Bank working around Interest Rate Derivative/FX products and be a Senior AVP or VP level candidate. The successful candidate will have modelling experience with strong technical skills working with Excel and relevant systems, a working knowledge of VBA and SQL are not essential but will be considered a distinct advantage.
