Global Brokerage and Capital Markets firm with a top tier position in the market is urgently seeking to hire an experienced Treasury candidate into a VP level role. The company are a global business with solid roots in the London market and impressive array of market leading products. Their finance and middle office team is a close knit group of professionals with a down to earth culture and relatively fluid structure. This role would suit an experienced Corporate Treasurer or a Treasury / Cash Product Control Head looking to diversify their experiences.

Reporting into the CFO, the role will cover the following areas:

  • Member of the firm's ALCO Committee, preparing the monthly pack and presenting MI to senior management
  • Preparation and maintenance of the ILAA and related regulatory disclosure information
  • Development of ongoing improvements in the liquidity stress test scenarios for the firm
  • Efficient management of Firms cash balances
  • Responsibility for placing client cash / firm cash at banks and ensure revenue optimisation from client cash balances (CFM) and Firms cash (NII). The client cash balance is large and is managed across GBP, EUR and USD.
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party banks and other internal departments
  • Product pricing impact of liquidity
  • Optimisation of capital position
  • Ongoing development of system automation in liquidity processes and management information

Background wise the preference is for someone who is a qualified accountant (ACA / AMCT or equivalent) with experience in a similar role in an Investment Bank, Global Broker or similar. You'll need to demonstrate tangible experience across the length and breath of a complex corporate treasury function with relevant and up to date knowledge of regulatory and liquidity reporting requirements.

This is an urgent hire with the CFO keen to make an appointment ASAP. Salary in the region of £100-130k base plus benefits and a healthy discretionary bonus.
