Marks Sattin are supporting a Leeds city centre retailer for the role of Accounts Assistant!



This is a permanent role, perfect for a recent graduate looking to progress themselves within a transactional role or a candidate in the early stages of their accountancy career (1/2 years experience).



The role is paying £28,000 on a full-time basis with hybrid working (2 days from home per week) and can also offer study support!



The position holder will assist the Financial Accountant in the day-to-day control processes, as well as support with month end close.



Responsibilities of the role include:

• Daily bank reconciliations
• Day-to-day transactional accounting
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations and query resolution
• Assist month end close process - journal postings and supporting with accruals
• Accounts Payable duties - supplier statement reconciliations, processing of invoices and payments
• Reconciliation of Company Credit Card accounts
