Seeking an Accounts Assistant for a 6-month contract within a Manufacturing company based in South West London. In this role, you will be working under a Senior Management Accountant and COO. Working with a small team of Sales, Operations, Service, Marketing and Finance specialists, you will be central to a busy office.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as purchase invoicing, cashflow, payments to third party suppliers and allocation of cash.
- Managing and processing month-end payment run.
- Cash and credit card expense posting and statement reconciliations.
- Create POs and suppliers when required.
- Review and check mileage claims.
- Oversee accounts shared inbox-forward emails to the relevant person.
- Review and update new customer's accounts.
- Send out statements to customers.
- Support updating stock counts and costs.
- Assist with weekly dashboard for senior management.
- Other ad-hoc finance duties and reports where necessary.
Qualities Required:
- Competent in Microsoft office, including intermediate excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas etc).
- Software knowledge of Lakeview (ERP) advantageous but not essential.
- Solid communication skills both written and verbal and a Team player.
- Attention to detail in terms of getting it right first time, organisational & analytical skills.
- Strong bookkeeping skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
