Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire

Contract: Temporary, 6-month FTC

Payrate: £9 - £11 per hour

A new role to join a well-known, large organisation has just come onto the market for an Accounts Payable Clerk. They are opening their doors for an AP clerk to join their shared service centre on a 6-month contract - which could be extended for the right person. Offering training, and a great company/team to be apart that would look great on anyone's CV! Bare that in mind.

Some Main duties include:

  • Processing all purchases and refunds including supplier invoices and credit notes
  • Coding invoices accurately
  • Managing an assigned ledger
  • VAT Returns
  • Allocating cash and payments
  • Reconciling accounts and manage any queries/discrepancies.
  • Work with a team
  • Also, work within Treasury; chasing debts, Cash allocations, supplier payment plans etc

Ideal candidate

  • Someone with 12 months AP experience
  • Ability to navigate around Excel.
  • Short notice period
  • It is important you can work well within a team.
  • Not afraid to ask for help or if unsure on workload.
  • Communication skills - written and verbally.
  • Accurate and keen attention to detail

The client is looking for someone who is looking to gain hands on experience working within a shared service centre. To be a key member of the team to assist with the volume of invoices which will need to be processed. If this is something you are interested in feel free to reach out.
