Start your job searchMarks Sattin are currently recruiting an Accounts Payable Controller on behalf of an International Law firm, based in Leeds City Centre.
As an Accounts Payable Controller, you will be responsible for however not limited to;
- Completing daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations from multiple bank accounts and in varying currencies
- Preparation and processing of client refunds as well as all aspects of Accounts Payable.
- Resolving queries for both internal and external clients
- Assisting and preparing the processing of client refunds in line with the firm's current processes and policies
- Providing a high standard of professional customer service to both internal staff and external clients with a high level of both written and verbal communication
- Ensuring compliance is in line with the Firm's procedures and, where applicable, local country legal requirements including the appropriate anti money laundering legislation
The successful candidate will have;
- A strong understanding of transactional finance
- Considerable experience in the key duties of the role including Bank Reconciliations and Accounts Payable
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Experience of working in a multi-currency environment - desirable
- Experience of working with overseas banks - desirable
- A self-motivated and pro-active approach
- The ablility to deliver to deadlines
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Salary is up to £30,000 depending on your level of experience
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Hybrid working - 2 days in the office and 3 days at home
37.5 hours per week
Leeds City Centre offices
