The main duties include:

• Work with other teams in Finance to ensure the regular production and analysis of various P&L lines
• Responsibility for certain Balance sheet reconciliations relating to the division
• Working closely with the functional teams to understand processes, resolve reconciling items on balance sheet recs and ensuring timely and appropriate escalation of issues to the relevant parties in the business
• Assist with the preparation of budget and forecast feeding in any assumptions, issues and/or opportunities to ensure that unnecessary variances are minimised
• Proactively review current procedures and implement improvements

Our client is looking for a candidate who has:

• Experience of working in a deadline driven financial reporting environment
• The desire to complete a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA)
• Reconciliation and data analysis experience
• Excellent reporting and analytical skills
• Good Excel skills
• The ability to communicate well with both financial non financial professionals
