Looking to speak to people with experience of Audit and Accounts, working in any size UK accountancy practice that are part qualified (no more than 3 or 4 ACA or ACCA exams remaining), who are looking to move to an Audit and Accounts role within a Top 75 practice firm in North London.

Audit and Accounts Junior

• Working in an accounts and audit team, where effectively up to 70% of time will be on year end accounts and 30% on audits; as well as preparing draft tax computations (Our dedicated Tax department deals with the finalisation and submission of tax computations).
  * Combined office-based and client facing role, working within the department in small teams of between four to five people, under supervision.
  * Working on a diverse portfolio of clients including small and medium sized privately owned limited companies, LLP's, partnerships and sole traders.
  * Preparing accounts from a wide variety of client records ranging from basic prime books and records through to computerised accounting packages.
  * Ad hoc specialist assignments as and when they arise.

Job Objectives

• 
  Production of draft accounts together with a well presented accounts file (paper / paperless), for review.
  * Carrying out audit work both office based and at clients premises under supervision
  * Preparation of management accounts from time to time.
  * Manage general office-based day to day duties, as required.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Exam qualified ACA, ACCA or part exam qualified with no more than 3 or 4 exams remaining.
• Practical experience within a firm of accountants is not essential but is desirable.
  * Ability to multi-task.
  * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  * Good English, both written and verbal.
  * Good time management with ability to meet tight deadlines.
  * Flexible attitude, with ability to prioritise workload.
