Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a well-established organisation in their search for a Commercial Financial Controller to work out of their office based in Manchester with a hybrid working model on an initial one-year fixed term contract.
The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified and must have worked for a complex business previously. Strong technical accounting skills are absolutely essential as is experience of financial planning and analysis. Advanced Excel skills are crucial and any exposure to working with an ERP system would be a distinct advantage. Excellent staff management skills are crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Key duties for the Commercial Financial Controller role will involve:
- Producing and consolidating month end accounts
- Lead on improving processes and systems throughout the organisation
- Lead on budgeting and forecasting
- Provide crucial financial analysis for the business
- Business partner with all areas of the organisation
- Key contact for auditors
- Produce and present key financial reporting
- Management of a finance team
Salary for the role is up to £95,000 + benefits
