Do you have a keen interest in Deals and Mergers and Acquisitions?
Are you currently working in Audit or Tax - inclusive of broad sector experience and want to make a move into Advisory?
Then get in touch, as Marks Sattin are working on opportunities for qualified finance professionals (or those with 1-2 years PQE) that are looking to make a move into Corporate Finance Lead Advisory - M&A.
Key Deliverables
- Assisting in lead advisory low to mid-market assignments (Value of c. £10-100m)
- Assist the Senior Leadership team and other members of the CF team to enable them to provide strategic and technical advice and guidance to clients with regard to acquisitions, disposals, and other M&A transactions
- Preparing business valuations, identifying and approaching potential acquirers
- Create and review financial models to assist in the evaluation of the business and prospects for a client, and the potential returns of a transaction
- Assisting with queries arising from the acquirers' due diligence processes
- Prepare and support presentations (pitching for business as well as management and bid presentations)
The ideal candidate will be
- ACA/ACCA qualified
- Transactional experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- Demonstrable interest in OMBs and SMEs and the markets in which you operate
- Outstanding communication skills and commercial acumen
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel
