This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join a fantastic business during a period of sustained growth. The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity that offer you to be part of a growing tax team, while reporting directly to the Group Tax Manager. Having the opportunity to work with various stakeholders across the board and gain exposure across various sectors. The role will primarily focuses on UK corporate taxes, while there will be an expectation that assistance will be provided across other UK taxes.
The finance team work on a hybrid basis in a brilliant office environment in Manchester and have a vibrant, fun and high performing culture.
Day to Day includes:
- Support and manage the UK tax compliance process
- Provide support with UK GAAP tax reporting for both consolidated and statutory filings
- Looking at quarterly instalment payments
- Help the senior leadership team with the appraisal of key tax developments
- Assist the Group in preparation for key legislative changes
- Maintain key tax governance requirements, such as SAO, CCO and Tax Risk Registers
- Management of the Group transfer pricing policy
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified
- Experience working in a big 4 or top 10 accountancy
- Strong understanding of UK corporate tax
Desired skills (But not required):
- Experience working with VAT
- Experience with International Tax
- Experience working with employment Tax
