Start your job searchA global consumer brand based in the heart of London are looking to add a Commercial Finance Analyst to their team to look after the Cost side of the business.
The role will involve working in conjunction with all department heads to ensure maximum profitability, Provide critical assessment of all budgets and cost projections, Remain acutely aware of market trends that could impact resource costs, Analyze monthly variance and ensure that the business can make quick and accurate decisions both on an operational and strategic level, Undertake all cost analyses to detect risks and propose the actions required to maintain budgetary objectives. You will also be required to keep up to date on new vendors and possible cost-cutting partnerships, Analyze invoices to ensure correct products/services were received at the expected cost;
Implement good Internal Control practices, Commit to maximizing efficiency at all levels without compromising quality, understand the entire arc of the business and how productivity affects profitability, Build a strong partnership with the Supply Chain and all other teams.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a commercial role within FMCG/Retail/Consumer industries. Other industry backgrounds may be considered but those are preferred. Ideally you will have had a cost focus in your previous role. You will have strong excel skills, be a good communicator at all levels. You will be PQ/Finalist ACCA / CIMA and looking to finish off your studies.
