Marks Sattin are currently working with a Doncaster based client for role of Credit Controller.

You will work alongside an existing team of 3 accounting professionals to support the Finance Director. There is an opportunity to make the role your own & use your experience to implement new and/or update existing processes.

Our client will pay up to £30k on a full time basis (8-4PM or 9-5PM).

Your duties will include:

• Chasing customer payments in line with payment terms
• Working with the sales team to resolve customer disputes
• Working to targets & KPIs
• Checking remittance advices, posting sales receipts and general sales ledger maintenance
• Management of sales ledger accounts within prescribed internal credit limits
• Implementing best practice credit control systems

The candidate must have:

• Experience in a transactional role and be able to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent telephone manner
• Accurate and timely data entry skills
• Strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise own workload effectively
• Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts is desirable but not essential
• Knowledge of Excel is essential
• Ability to hit targets & KPIs
