FTSE 100 powerhouse with an enviable reputation in the market for being the front runner in their industry is looking for a Director within Group Reporting to lead a team of 12 Qualified Accountants. The Director will be responsible for 3 areas - Group Financial Reporting, Consolidation Systems and Publications (covering full year and interim glossies). Within the role, the key responsibilities will include:

• Owning the preparation of the Group's interim and full year consolidated statutory accounts.
• Leading and designing the creation of the Annual Report.
• Leading the preparation of the UK GAAP statutory accounts, including full commentary and analysis
• Ensuring full compliance and up to date application of IFRS
• Implementing and a strong Financial Control framework
• Motivating and leading a team of qualified ACAs.

This fantastic role would suit someone who possesses excellent Technical Accounting experience gained through another FTSE 100 or leading Accountancy Practice. You will ideally be ACA (Equivalent) operating at a Senior Management level with staff responsibility. In person, you should be comfortable in communicating with candidates at all levels - as well as being the lead point of contact for the Audit Committee.
