Fast growing multi-site retailer seeks Finance Analyst to join their expanding team in West London. A completely unique position that looks specifically at the groups Restaurant business (circa 90 restaurants across the UK).
The Restaurant Finance Analyst is a unique and truly commercial position that reports to the Head of Restaurants; with dotted line to the Marketing Director as well. Key responsibilities as follows:-
- Assisting the restaurant team to assess the success of restaurant menu offers
- Analysing restaurant margin by restaurant
- Analysing restaurant profitability by restaurant
- Improving reporting to restaurant managers
- Assisting in the setting of budgets and monitoring performance against these
- Assisting the Business Development Team in setting appropriate assumptions for capital investment projects
- Monitoring restaurant performance post investment to ensure target assumptions are being met
- Monitoring competitor pricing
- Analysing promotional activity
The business you are joining is private equity backed and has plans to further invest over the short, mid and long term; it's therefore a hugely vibrant environment and a very exciting place to get in to.
You will be fully qualified and ideally possess previous retail/mulit-site experience. Any restaurant experience a huge advantage for obvious reasons. Excellent Excel, Financial Analysis and Powerpoint skills essential, and confidence to present ideas to Directors of the company.
