Finance Assistant | Bolton | Hybrid | 10 month Contract | up to £34,000

As a Finance Assistant within our finance function, you will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations and contributing to the overall efficiency of our finance department. You will be responsible for controlling core financial operational processes, ensuring the integrity and reliability of monthly financial outputs from the FP&A team. Your work will provide senior management with timely, accurate, and informative month-end information to understand key performance drivers.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and control core financial operational processes.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of monthly financial outputs.
• Provide timely and informative month-end reports to senior management.
• Identify new informational needs within the business and collect, analyse, and report data to support decision-making processes
• Contribute to the development of strategic and financial plans.

Requirements:

• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Early to mid-stage progress towards a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and a strong desire to learn and progress your career.
• A self-starter prepared to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain focus and concentration during routine tasks.
• Professional and helpful when handling enquiries from various stakeholders within and outside the business.
