An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Management Accountant looking for a step up or a Finance Manager to join a vibrant events company. Seeking a dynamic, highly organised and driven individual, with proven experience in fast paced environment. As part of a small team you will gain exposure to all areas of finance and more, playing a pivotal role in the department.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Central London requiring 3 days on-site per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of month end close and produce company management accounts
• Creation of monthly board pack for directors and present at montly board meeting
• Assist in preparing the company annual budget and reforecasts / rolling forecast
• Project accounting - working with Project Managers and Stock Controllers to report on variances and reconcile against budget
• Balance Sheet reconciliation and review
• Manage year-end audit and prepare statutory accounts for filing
• File company quarterly VAT Returns for three businesses
• Manage the AR and AR team (two direct reports)
• Manage two smaller entites, including invoicing, payments and P&Ls
• Oversee payroll process, create monthly payroll submission, liase with third party who process
• Overhead department cost control
• Assist the Finance Director in any other ad hoc projects

Succeessful Candidate

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
• Advanced Excel skills (vlookup, sumifs, pivot tables etc)
• Confident and able to challenge senior managers on budgets and expenditure
• Organised, methodical with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Experience and managing projects to tight deadlines
