Finance Manager | Manchester | 6 month FTC | Immediate Start

Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a growing Manchester business to recruit for a dynamic and talented Finance Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial improvement, scalability, and enhancing customer experience within the business. You'll manage a dedicated Finance Team, ensuring all finance tasks meet internal and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations across key areas
• Produce KPI/MI reports for stakeholders.
• Provide timely and accurate financial reporting and modelling for the Executive Leadership Team and Senior Management Team.
• Manage overall debt levels across the business portfolio.
• Act as a software system champion, training the team on finance processes and driving continuous improvement.
• Ensure the team operates with clear processes and quality controls.

About you

• ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified accountant or qualified by experience.
• Strong technical accounting skills, especially around controls and processes.
• Previous management of a finance team is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Analytical skills with good attention to detail and numeracy.
• Strong IT skills, particularly in spreadsheets/Excel (advanced) and finance systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to led an already successful team as the business grows. This role has the potential to be made permanent after the initial contract
