Start your job searchA Finance Manager is needed for a fashion retailer on a temp to perm basis.
The role is based in South London and hybrid, based in the office 3 days per week.
The role will require previous experience with Dynamics/ Navision software and is needed urgently so a notice of 1 week or less is essential.
The role reports directly into the MD and would suit someone confident in their abilities and able to handle a varied role.
Main duties of the Finance Manager will include:
- Preparing all month end reports
- Responsibility for accurate P&L reporting as well as Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Working with the MD to do margin checks and commentary on the monthly reports
- Day to day bookkeeping
- Invoicing and purchase invoicing as needed
- Preparing and posting month end journals
- Compiling accruals and prepayments
- Credit control, chasing and monitoring debtor accounts on an ongoing basis.
- Managing audits and resolving discrepancies.
- Validating new supplier setups / change requests.
- VAT return preparation and filing - UK and other jurisdictions as required
- Managing creditors and payments
- Filing CT returns and accounts at Companies House
- Helping MD with budgeting and forecasting and updating the model as required
- Ad hoc commercial finance tasks to analyse activity
- Filing and other ad hoc tasks as required
The ideal Finance Manager will:
- Be available on a week's notice or immediately available
- Have previous experience with Dynamics or Navision software
- Have previous experience in a Finance Manager role
- A confident, self-starter
