Start your job searchLeading science business is looking for someone to help the Finance Director by moving information from excel to PowerBI.
The Finance Optimisation Workstream Lead key responsibility is for understanding, identifying, designing and implementing changes to the current ways of working. This role also supports the Operations & Development teams during periods of high workload to ensure the delivery of business objectives through the provision and interpretation of key management information.
You will be responsible for
- Mapping out current processes, mainly around Month End close, CAPEX management and core reporting
- Using PowerBI to generate dashboards, removing excel reports
- Partnering with wider business to ensure correct data is obtained
- AdHoc help to the finance team during workload peaks
It would be useful if you have spent time as an accountant before moving into a Project focused role. You must be very talented in dashboard creation and have a clear and concise view on managing project workloads. SAP experience a must as is a demonstrable background in mapping processes (ideally within finance).
The position is fully remote, which may change with government advice.
