This is a challenging and fulfilling opportunity with the potential to develop your range of skills significantly. You will be a key member of client service teams in areas such as finance strategy, finance operating model design, shared services implementation and outsourcing advisory. Experience with finance change programmes, problem solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to remain logical in ambiguous situations.
The Role will:
- Work with clients to clarify and define Finance Target Operating Models.
- Benchmark to understand the 'health' of the Finance function and identifying what is required to solve the challenges it faces.
- Design, build and implement components of the future Finance organisations, e.g. Finance organisation design, shared services design, defining best practice Finance processes.
- Perform detailed financial analysis to support business case development and benefits realisation.
- Plan and manage a project to time and to budget in support of the overall project plan.
- Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
- Inputting into proposals and identifying follow-on opportunities at existing clients.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
The successful applicant will have:
- Qualified accountant with ACA, CIMA or other accounting qualification, and a strong academic record is desirable.
- Prior consulting experience in finance transformation or significant roles in large scale finance transformation projects in industry is essential.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professional and client service excellence.
- The ability to develop good working relationships is critical.
- Ability to effectively balance a number of tasks, work to deadlines, and produce quality deliverables.
