Marks Sattin Executive Search are working with a HNW Family Office with a wide and varied investment portfolio in their search for a Financial Accountant to assist in their financial functions. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join an innovative, dynamic, and close-knit team, overseeing a portfolio of sophisticated and international assets which is continually and rapidly growing due to strategic active investment.

You will report directly to the Financial Controller on a wide range of duties, working within a friendly, respectful, and methodical team. The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, the production of end of year statutory accounts, budgeting and forecasting (including cash flows), handling tax matters, and assisting with audit processes and monthly valuations. The role would suit a chartered accountant with a strong educational background who is looking to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment with senior level exposure.

The ideal candidate:

• Qualified accountant (preferably chartered)
• Accounting system experience (ideally including property)
• Good excel skills
• Proactive and driven, with close attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills: capable of working well as part of a small and closely knit finance team
• Updated on tax, accounting, and compliance issues
• Highly adaptable and capable of dealing with new areas
• Family Office/Fund Accounting experience highly desirable
