Financial Controller | Hybrid | 12-Month FTC | Up to £70,000 | Manchester

An established and growing business is looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to join on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a key role where you'll take ownership of core finance activities, partner with senior stakeholders, and help shape processes to support continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and produce accurate management accounts.
• Prepare Board-level reporting, including KPIs and performance insights.
• Manage cashflow forecasting and ensure robust financial controls.
• Oversee statutory and regulatory compliance (VAT, PAYE, filings).
• Mentor and develop team members.

About You

• ACA / ACCA / ACMA qualified Accountant.
• Strong technical accounting skills and advanced Excel knowledge.
• Comfortable in a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing a team.
