Are you a smart, charismatic, confident and outgoing individual? An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for a leading investment management firm based in central London. Working in a team of 4 - reporting to the financial controller - they are looking for a junior accounts assistant who is fluent in French. Candidates will also be relatively early stages and also studying CIMA / AAT or who is still early stages with their studies.
You will be responsible for:

· Maintaining Purchase Ledger - including the Daily accounting of purchase and sales ledger transactions.
· Production of the reconciliations in accordance with the month end deadlines.
· Maintaining the firm's fixed asset register and accompanying journals.
· The management of accounting for transactions in relation to the firm's expenditure
· Processing of all purchase invoices, staff expense claims and company credit card claims.
· Preparing month end reconciliations
· Prepare weekly supplier payments, data entry - Account for staff expenditure and resolve related queries.

The relevant candidate will be either a recent graduate from university or will have had at least 12 months of previous experience in a similar role as an accounts assistant. Ideal candidates must be fluent in French, will preferably be studying or starting to study towards their CIMA/ AAT qualification and will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Due to the nature of the role you will need to be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines as you will be pushed to your limits and constantly challenged.
