The Opportunity:
A Venture Capitalist firm are searching for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their team in Mayfair. In this role you'd be assisting with a variety of aspects of the finance function, including portfolio monitoring and corporate finance.
Fund Accountant Duties:
- Maintain ownership records for portfolio companies
- Conduct regular reviews of portfolio performance and trends
- Utilize fund models to monitor key performance indicators
- Perform quarterly valuations of portfolio companies using diverse valuation methodologies
- Manage fund cash flows and analyse financial models
- Administer SPV and fund invoicing processes
- Provide ad hoc analysis for portfolios and funds as needed
- Oversee the preparation of year-end financial statements and coordinate audits
- Monitor corporate group cash flow and ensure liquidity levels are sufficient
- Develop annual budgets and produce monthly financial reports for the UK group of companies
Fund Accountant Profile:
- Newly Qualified in an accounting qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Experience in a similar role with exposure to VC Funds
- Financial Modelling experience would be a plus
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
