Duties will include:

• Oversight and governance of the financial reports; ensuring that funds remain compliant with accounting regulations, audit requirements and industry standards.
• Oversight and governance of fund related regulatory reporting On-Going Charges and disclosures, ensuring that disclosures and methodologies are compliant with accounting regulations and industry practice;
• Key point of contact for accounting and regulatory fund disclosures
• Act as the central process owner and co-ordinate internal, third party administrator and fund auditor activities to ensure deliveries are made in accordance with agreed timescales and accounting standards
• Provide tailored financial reports and MI to other entities, regulators and boards/committees as required
• Create and maintain internal processes and procedures for the full spectrum of activities covered by the role.

The successful candidate will have:

• 8+ years Investment fund accounting experience including 3/4 years of Fund Oversight experience in a Fund/Consulting/Investments environment.
• In-depth IFRS regulation and best practice experience.
• New fund launches, corporate actions experience
• Attending Board and Committee meetings to represent areas of responsibility.
• Detailed knowledge of investment assets, portfolio management techniques, risk models and fair valuation approaches.
• Exposure to complex valuations and Private Equity/Hedge funds a bonus.
