Fund Controller - Renewables - 6m Fixed Term Contract

A large alternative investment investment fund has an exciting role for a commercially astute fund controller with experience of being the bridge between finance and the deal team to support on transacations and valuations.

This is a 6 month FTC, paying in the region £85,000-£90,000 + benefits, hybrid working

The underlying product is a Lux domiciled renewables fund.


The successful candidate will be acting as fund controller for this product and supporting on accounting matters pertaining to acquisitions, disposals, corporate and fund structures.

Responsibilities may include:

- Oversight of TPAs, reviewing NAVs (valuations), drawdowns, distributions

- Managing the relationship with the fund adminitrators

- Advising on accounting and tax matters in relation to deals

- Ensuring compliance with fund investment governance

- Advising on accounting policy for transactions

- Managing internal and external stakeholders


To be considered for this role you:

- must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, ACMA etc)

- must have clsoed ended infra/real estate/renewables fund control experience

- undewrstand Luxembourg close ended fund structures

- must have have experience of supporting the deal team with accounting matters related to closing deals

- should be an energetic, self starter and strong communicator

- avaialble to start quickly (within 1 month)
