Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a leading Multisite healthcare business, with an international presence backed by an upper mid-Market private equity firm. The business has achieved significant growth organically and through strategic acquisitions. And is actively seeking a forward-thinking Group Financial Controller to contribute to the execution of a dynamic growth strategy, focusing on integrating their existing acquisitions in the upcoming period followed on by further growth.

The Group Financial Controller, reporting directly to the CFO, will play a pivotal role in taking decisive actions and conducting analytical reviews within the finance function. Responsibilities include reporting, monitoring, compliance, and consolidations, alongside aligning the objectives and priorities of the Finance department. Moreover, you will oversee and mentor a small but focussed team with complete responsibility for statutory accounts, group reporting and controls.

This role is tailor-made for technically strong, results-oriented leader who can identify opportunities for enhancements in systems, processes, and controls to drive sustained business growth.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) with a background of training in an accountancy firm
• Previous experience of working in a PE Backed business as a Group Financial Controller or an ambitious candidate looking to step up into a Group Financial Controller role.
• Involvement with M&A (acquisition and integration) and transformation
