Role - Group Reporting Manager Location - Cheadle Salary - Between £65000 and £75,000 + benefits

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a multi-million £ manufacturing business in their search for a Group Reporting Manager to work out of their offices based just outside Cheadle on a hybrid working model.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA qualified and the role would suit an individual that comes from an accountancy practice background. A history of working with an international business would be preferable and any exposure to the consolidation of accounts would also be desirable? The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work to tight deadlines is absolutely crucial. Key duties for the Group Reporting Manager role will involve the following:

  • Oversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly accounts
  • Prepare management reports for senior stakeholders
  • Management of the external audit process and production of statutory accounts
  • Stay updated with accounting standards
  • Look to improve the internal controls and processes within the organisation
  • Offer support on strategic initiatives
  • Build strong relationships internally with the wider group
  • Management of a small team
  • Ad-hoc project work

Salary for the role is anywhere between £65,000 and £75,000 + benefits
